Special Independence Day ride July 1 - 4! Join us for all four days, or stay for just two.
Contact us to reserve your spot.

Introduction

We are located four miles west of Clinton, Arkansas in the picturesque Red River valley. Surrounded by the majestic Ozark mountains, our guided trail rides will take you through thousands of acres of private pastures and state managed forests.

Wind through valleys with clear mountain creeks, down remote hollows, and up rugged mountainsides and plateaus. Take an overnight ride to Archie Fork and pitch a primitive camp by one of Arkansas' white water canoeing rivers. Ride to Scotland, backdrop for western movies.

Other area attractions include
Greers Ferry Lake, one of Arkansas' premier fishing and boating lakes (Choctaw landing offers boat rentals, beaches, and more). Within a 20 mile radius of Clinton, you'll find antique shops, craft stores, as well as rustic towns like Leslie and Scotland, backdrop to Western movies.

We cater to small groups. This allows us to lend all activites and entertainment a personal touch, and gives us a chance to get to know each other. In order to have a ride, we need 15-40 participants; however, no matter the size of your group, give us a call and we'll work with you.

Reserved rides run from March to October. The two weeks around Labor Day (August 26 - September 10 for 2000) are blocked off the calendar for the National Championship Chuckwagon Races held on the Eoff Ranch adjacent to ours. During that period we offer campsites only (see below).

Chuckwagon Races Campsites

So you want to attend the national finals chuckwagon races and you're looking for a campsite - we can help by setting you up with a beautiful, shaded campsite within a short horseback ride of all the events. Our campsites are large enough to accommodate a horse trailer and medium motor home with ample space to move about and picket or pen your horses. Each campsite will cost you $25.00 (plus $10.00 per bag for us to put out tick poison). The sites are primitive with no frills. If you would like references as to their adequacy,
email us. When you pay for your site we guarantee you will have one upon arrival.
